Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Manager, Events to lead the strategic planning of our global events program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing standards, guidelines, and budget recommendations to our regional delivery team for event execution and planning, which includes event conceptualization, developing feedback loops, and reporting standards.
This role reports to the Director of Community.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Events Management and have proven experience working cross-functionally to execute event experiences for our client. Additionally, our ideal candidate will be a:
Relationship leader: This is a highly collaborative role. You must be able to foster trusted relationships where you become the go to contact for events you lead and support. Build trusted relationships with marketing, cross-functional teams, client stakeholders and regional teams to effectively plan and implement our global events strategy.
Cross-functional collaborator: You are responsible for bringing our events strategy to life, helping to bring engaging experiences to our client, whether they are a spectator or participant. You will own the event planning experience, from start to finish, identifying team members that will be essential to the success of global events from conception through execution.
Innovator at multiple altitudes : Have an ability to think strategically about global experience while engaging in the details with local communities for partnership. You are responsible for delivering large-scale impact and sharing/influencing event planning best practices. Listen intently and gather learnings from your work, your team and our cross-disciplinary teams to continually innovate how we can enable the growth of our global events strategy and programming. Have an eye toward experience design as it relates to designing engaging events that foster connection and belonging.
Influencer: Be a courageous leader. Proactively share outcomes, insights and opportunities that surface. This benefits a broader cascade of best practice to our team(s) and also helps validate/inform future strategic direction. Blend being opportunistic with analysis to help prioritize our resourcing as we assess and execute our event strategy.
Change Manager: Anticipate and manage shifting priorities to work through and adapt to organizational change. Seek solutions and solve problems in an ambiguous environment through due diligence of available information, tying decision-making to team strategic objectives.
Communicator: Actively engage with client liaisons and Exos teams (each at the appropriate level of detail and frequency), using written, verbal, virtual and/or in-person methods to effectively and efficiently drive our strategic priorities forward. Recognize and recommend opportunities for future global events that help deliver unique experiences. Escalate challenges with solutions; prioritize these across a diverse engagement portfolio to deliver holistic engagement through events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in events management
Demonstrated skill in vendor and budget management
Ability to utilize collect, analyze, and use data to make informed decisions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Focus on the execution / evolution of our Events work and your Professional Development
PREFERRED
Experience in client-facing roles with large global organizations
Experience in influencing stakeholders through leveraging relationships, expertise, and data
Experience in a consulting or agency environment
Passion, experience and / or qualification(s) in sport, physical activity and wellbeing programs
Program management experience or qualification(s)
Willingness to travel
Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $85,000/year to $105,000/year. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
