Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Retail Link, Scintilla, and Madrid to gather, interpret, and present performance data.
  • Analyze POS, traffic, conversion, and sales performance on and to identify growth opportunities and diagnose performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting dashboards for Walmart and Sam’s Club e-commerce accounts.
  • Monitor availability, pricing, reviews, and digital shelf performance to identify execution gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, content, marketing, and sales teams to support promotional strategies and improve item visibility.
  • Conduct pre- and post-analysis of promotions, campaigns, and seasonal events to evaluate ROI and make data-backed recommendations.
  • Support customer presentations by building compelling, fact-based selling stories using insights from Scintilla, Madrid, Circana, and internal systems.
  • Partner with account leads to adjust sales planning & forecasts based on trend analysis and market inputs.
  • Respond quickly to ad hoc data requests, producing insights with clarity and urgency for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay current on Walmart/Sam’s Club digital commerce tools and trends to drive best-in-class performance.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and department leads to identify and develop new Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for analytics within the team and organization.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales analytics, preferably within the retail or e-commerce space; Walmart Inc experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Retail Link, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Familiarity with item setup and maintenance tools (e.g., Item 360, Sam’s Club item setup).
  • Experience working with syndicated data (IRI, SPINS, etc.) a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
