UX/UI Designers & Developers Job at Tribute Inc. in Fairfax Tribute, Inc provides deep technical expertise and best-in-class digital services to public-sector clients. Led by seasoned executives with extensive federal contracting experience, Tribute and its strategic partners aim to deliver innovative, modern solutions to federal government agencies. We are seeking experienced UX/UI Designers & Developers to lead and support all aspects of user-centered design and front-end development. You will define, plan, and conduct user research throughout the SDLC, starting from the Discovery phase. Your work will produce journey maps, personas, and other critical design artifacts that inform the development process. UX Designers will create iterative application flows and prototypes using tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision. UI Developers will implement these concepts with front-end technologies to develop responsive and accessible interfaces. Key Responsibilities: Conduct user research and produce deliverables including personas, journey maps, interview guides, and research findings. Design intuitive, user-friendly application flows and prototypes using standard UX/UI tools. Apply Human-Centered Design principles and ensure WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards compliance. Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless UI component integration. Experience: 8+ years in UX/UI design and development. Certifications: Not applicable. Technical Skills: React, Angular Ideal Candidate Attributes: Passionate about creating intuitive and accessible digital experiences. Deep understanding of user research methodologies and front-end development best practices. Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and stakeholders. This is a contract-win contingent opportunity attached to a 2.5-year government contract starting this fall, aimed at modernizing a public-serving website within the education sector through a complete redesign and rebuild. Tribute and its partners will submit a proposal bid in July. With the intent to hire upon contract award, we are actively recruiting qualified candidates to be part of our top team. The role will be an active member of the project team during relevant phases of the contract, with capacity ranging from part-time to full-time depending on project needs.
