Join the flagship facility of a leading regional health system as a Travel Pharmacist in Montgomery, AL. This large, full-service hospital supports a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and is a Primary Stroke Center. We're hiring two experienced pharmacists for vital operational roles.
Location: Montgomery, AlabamaPosition 1: Nights 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM
Position 2: Evenings 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Schedule: MondaySunday, 7 on / 7 off
Function as the lead Operations Pharmacist during assigned shifts
Review and verify medication orders; perform remote coverage for affiliate facility (Baptist Prattville) overnight
Work closely with pharmacy technicians and providers
Support safe and accurate sterile pounding processes
Ensure pliance with all facility protocols and standards
No emergency or ER response required
Active Alabama Pharmacist License at interview or proof of in-process with license in hand before start
2+ years of hospital pharmacist experience required
Strong munication and decision-making skills
fortable working independently overnight
NICU experience preferred
EMR: Cerner
Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets
Sentri 7 pharmacy surveillance software
IVX visual verification for sterile pounding
