The Stewarding Guest Service Manager, Food and Beverage will assist in daily operations overseeing all facets of the Stewarding aspect of the F&B, Banquet and cast Cafeteria Line of Business. This role provides leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality internal guest service is maintained and continually enhanced, through positive inspiration, detailed training, consistent coaching and upholding strong accountability measures all while promoting an environment that welcomes and embraces change. 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Stewarding Manager and is based on site at our stunning Aulani Resort on Oahu, Hawaii.

What will you do:

  • Develop, execute, and enhance the operational vision for the Stewarding Complex Line of Business, leveraging the overall vision of the Aulani Resort as well as the Disney Company. 
  • Develop partnerships with other Lines of Business to provide a seamless Guest Experience for all Clients. 
  • Maintain and monitor equipment, inventory and cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with policies, standards, and regulations. 
  • Order & Maintain accurate China, Glass & Silver Inventories & Pars established with F&B Director.
  • Order & Maintain all F&B Cleaning & Sanitation Supplies.
  • Build solid relationship with external vendors
  • Foster a positive environment that builds community and trust by supporting the delivery of the Five Keys Basics and modeling the Disney Leader Basics. 
  • Manages, resolves, and elevates complex issues regarding internal guests and Cast Members.
  • Oversee and manage F&B Complex financial operating expenses. 
  • Oversee Complex budgets, labor management, F&B Workloads. 
  • Ensure Complex F&B Guest Service Managers and Cast Members are well trained and knowledgeable of hazardous materials are used and stored properly in operations under their control, including regular inventory and availability SDS. 

Here’s what you will need to be successful in the job:

  • Proven 2 years of Food and Beverage Management Experience
  • Experience leading supervisors and Cast Members.
  • Previous Oversight of F&B Operating Expenses of $100K annually.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to ensure cast excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong partnering, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, teach and collaborate with a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven 2 years of leadership in an AAA four or five diamond rated resort or comparable experience

Education:

  • Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Hawaii is $77,000 to $95,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
