Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Appraiser Assistant to join our team in Beavercreek, OH . This is a commission-based position offering a flexible schedule —perfect for a self-starter looking to gain experience in the real estate appraisal industry.

You’ll work directly with a certified appraiser, assisting with a wide range of office and field support tasks related to residential property appraisals. This includes customer outreach and follow-up , preparing and managing appraisal reports, and other operational tasks that keep the office running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, organizing, and reviewing residential appraisal assignments
• Perform administrative and operational office tasks as needed
• Conduct client and borrower outreach and follow-ups (phone/email)
• Help manage report files, schedules, and data entry
• Collaborate with appraiser to ensure timely and accurate report completion
• Perform occasional field or support tasks related to appraisal inspections

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable with multitasking and adapting to varied responsibilities
• Willingness to learn appraisal processes and guidelines
• Appraiser Assistant Registration (OH) is a plus, but not required
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar)
