Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite weekly in Plano, TX 75024 (Legacy West)

Contract Length: 6 months with potential for extension

Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist who will manage key tasks in the procurement process, including supplier management, purchase order management, and data analysis and reporting. You will assist in identifying potential suppliers, sourcing products or services, building requirements, obtaining quotes, conducting price analyses, identifying risk, and offering support for purchases. Ideally, you will have experience in supporting a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and have familiarity with tools like Coupa (preferred, but not required).

Overview of Responsibilities:

P2P System Monitoring & Support:

• Review, verify, and process requisitions
• Follow up on approval workflows
• Ensure proper PO transmission
• Troubleshoot Coupa-related issues and manage support tickets
• Assist users with Coupa tasks, including delegations and reporting

Reporting & Data Management:

• Export and validate contract data (spend, stakeholders, categories, savings)
• Prepare quarterly procurement updates and year-end summaries
• Track implementation-related costs

Process & Documentation:

• Perform monthly Coupa user reviews
• Train new Coupa users
• Manage and log PO change requests
• Monitor status of supplier-related reviews (D&B, Gartner, TPCRM, etc.)
• Maintain change logs and SOP documentation
• Keep SharePoint content updated, including expiring contracts, NDAs, MSAs, and supplier records
• Conduct annual supplier status reviews

Projects & Ad Hoc Requests:

• Support stakeholder requests (e.g., product samples for testing)
• Build RFPs, conduct cost analyses, and summarize contract terms
• Collaborate with internal teams (legal, contracts, sales) to fulfill procurement needs
• Ensure vendor documentation is complete and procedures are followed
• Oversee contract/license obligations and renewal tracking
• Troubleshoot process issues for internal partners

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing and upcoming procurement projects
• Coordinate timing and activities with stakeholders and vendors
• Manage supplier relationships
• Track service levels and manage credits as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement
• Knowledge of RFx processes, contract language, and standards
• Experience with IT-related suppliers and contracts
• Familiarity with P2P tools (Coupa or similar)
• Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
