We are currently seeking a professional and dynamic part-time sales associate (15 hours per week) for our Portland, OR location. Applicants must have reliable transportation and must be flexible to work varying schedules: holidays, days, nights and/or weekends. Please be sure to include a complete resume when applying.

Job Description:

  • Support the company expectation and achieve sales and profitability through driving product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and sales.
  • Maintain store visual objectives and housekeeping expectations.
  • Monitors store email and reacts to business critical directives.
  • Provide positive feedback and encourage positive selling and customer service behaviors.
  • Consistent written and verbal communication with store management.
  • Responsible for shift opening and closing store functions.
  • Ensure store is opened with preparedness and secured at closing.
  • Creates and executes daily planner and communicates expectations with staff.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and ensures store team is compliant.
  • Completes sales transactions with efficiency from end to end.
  • Escalate store issues in a timely manner; identify and act to solve problems and recommend improvements.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Solution orientated, bringing challenges to a positive conclusion. Partner with store management to find solutions for improvements.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2 years retail sales or customer service including a minimum of 1 year shift supervision
  • Must practice effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

System Qualifications:

  • Microsoft office email
  • Retail inventory software
  • Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

  • Flexible schedule with nights, holidays and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and/or store set up.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Reaching arms over head, ladder use, computer operation, continuous standing and walking, hand coordination, telephone use, speaking, reading, writing.
