Fast-growing construction and maintenance company looking to hire a full-time painter/sheetrock installer for work on Hilton Head Island. This is an established company serving Hilton Head for 35 years. We are looking for hard-working experienced painter/sheetrock installers who have great customer service skills. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Conduct repair work and installation of sheet rock, interior and exterior wall repairs to various wall types such as drywall and stucco.
• Job site preparation-unloading tools, laying out drop cloths or paper to protect ground surfaces
• Daily site clean-up-ensuring no paint is on ground surfaces, garbage is removed and bagged up, all tools are cleaned and stored
• Ability to meet critical timelines and work independently or in teams.
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations (a plus).
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
