Legal Recruiter

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Salary: Up to $92,000 annually along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

LHH is working with a nationally recognized law firm seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Recruiter to join their Downtown Los Angeles office. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a top-tier legal team within a supportive and professional environment. The Legal Recruiter will play a key role in the full-cycle recruitment of lateral attorneys, ensuring to attract, engage, and hire top legal talent. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the legal industry and a proven track record managing lateral hiring in a large law firm setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of lateral attorney recruitment for the Los Angeles and other West Coast offices, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring partners, practice group leaders, and firm leadership to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with legal search firms and other external partners.
  • Oversee candidate communications and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track candidate activity and hiring metrics using the firm’s applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives related to recruiting, such as employer branding, market research, and diversity hiring efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal recruiting experience, with at least 1 year in a large law firm environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with lateral attorney recruiting is required.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with recruiting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
