Junior Salesforce Administrator/Developer

My client has a full time opening for a Junior Salesforce Administrator/Developer.  This is a hybrid role and is on site three days a week. You must be a Citizen or GC holder to qualify. In this role you will split your time between administrative tasks (70%) and development projects (30%). Collaborate with a technical lead while working independently to deliver customized Salesforce solutions for the Sales team.

Responsibilities

• Administration (70%) :

  • Manage user access, support queues, and third-party Salesforce apps

  • Perform data loads and exports

  • Facilitate daily triage calls with a data- and customer-focused mindset

  • Provide production support coverage

• Development (30%) :

  • Collaborate with technical lead, project manager, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and use cases

  • Develop enhancements using Apex and other relevant skills

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with expectations

  • Conduct thorough testing of deliverables

• General :

  • Communicate clearly and proactively with team members

  • Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines

  • Build a deep understanding of business needs

  • Approach all tasks with energy and focus

Qualifications

• Required :

  • 1+ year of Salesforce development experience

  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components

  • Knowledge of component communication in the Lightning framework

  • Proficiency in Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex) and SOQL

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Experience using VS Code, Salesforce DX (sfdx), and Git

• Preferred :

• Background in Java or .NET

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator)
