The ideal candidate will spearhead our efforts in understanding user behavior and preferences through a variety of research methodologies, influencing product design and user experience strategies. Collaboration with product management leads and stakeholders is key to effectively communicate insights and drive evidence-based decisions. Key Responsibilities Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to gather nuanced data on user interactions with products. Apply human capability principles to aid in designing and evaluating effective hardware for smart home devices. Utilize a range of human engineering methods to improve product interaction and safety. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive human-product interaction design and validation. Present persuasive findings to influence product development and foster user-centered design changes. Must-Have Skills: Expertise in ergonomic and HCI principles. Proficiency in using statistical and usability tools. Strong capability in conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research. Industry Experience: Experience in consumer electronics product development is highly desirable, showcasing a strong background in human factors research applicable to hardware design and user experience enhancements.
