Head Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving/Aquatics Director

The head men’s and women’s swimming & diving coach leads and directs an intercollegiate NCAA Division III S&D program. Responsibilities include program vision, planning, coaching, instruction, financial management, recruitment, supervision of assistant coaches, team leadership, student-athlete recruitment and retention, fundraising, and compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.

The projected salary for this position is $62,587.

Responsibilities:

1. Coaching, Training, Instruction: Develop student-athletes academically and athletically, manage practice and meet planning, collaborate with colleagues.
2. Recruitment: Lead recruitment of student-athletes demonstrating potential for success.
3. Fundraising: Lead efforts to support program needs.
4. Academic Oversight: Mentor and monitor student-athletes' academic success.
5. Budget & Travel: Manage expenses, budgets, procurement, and team travel logistics.
6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to NCAA, conference, and university regulations.
7. Supervision: Recruit, train, and evaluate assistant coaches.
8. Events & Alumni Engagement: Support departmental events and maintain alumni relationships.
9. Facilities: Oversee pool operations, safety, and meet management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, proven coaching success at collegiate/high school/club level, proficiency in relevant software, lifeguard and pool operator certifications, preferred ASCA Level III certification, knowledge of recruiting and meet software, social media skills, experience in Division III environment is preferred.
