Sanitation Worker Job Description
Essential Functions
Set up pumps, hoses for necessary CIP connections
Follow daily, weekly, monthly and annual sanitation program.
Work with Supervisor or Lead to ensure that Master Sanitation Schedule is completed and paperwork is in order.
Remove trash from all trash containers in production and outside areas and wash containers as needed, following Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's).
Perform proper dilutions of cleaning chemicals.
Pick up debris in all areas of the plant, in accordance with daily SSOP's.
Trash removal from all applicable areas.
Wipes down tables, cabinets, walls and desks as needed.
Cleans appliances, walls and baseboards in lunchroom and maintains towel and soap supply.
Cleans restrooms thoroughly and maintains towel and soap supply.
Fills and maintains the soap and hand sanitizer dispensers.
Fills hair and beard net stations.
May lift 55 pounds frequently.
Constant use of arms, legs and hands, walking, bending and moving throughout the work shift.
Regular, punctual attendance.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
