ProSidian Seeks a Education Consultant - Andragogy / Pedagogy Professional (AER8) [Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant] located: CONUS - Atlanta, GA, San Francisco, CA, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, Washington D.C. (Remote) to provide Education, And Academia Sector related Management And Operations Solutions for Logistical Support for Adult Education Reform Services on behalf of The Department of Education (DoEd). These services are considered part of the ProSidian Education, And Academia Sector Group with relevant Education, And Academia Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support an engagement for DOED.
Serves as a Education Consultant - Andragogy / Pedagogy Professional and work as a part of a team to provide Facilitation, and Logistical Support for Adult Education Reform to the Department of Education Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE) | Division of Adult Education and Literacy (DAEL). The purpose of this task order is to provide subject matter expertise and logistical support to the Department of Education for the production of policy-related materials and a variety of meetings.
Responsibilities include providing expert guidance, analyzing current practices, developing training sessions, staying updated on trends, collaborating with clients, evaluating practices, and developing assessment tools.
Desired Qualifications For Education Consultant - Andragogy / Pedagogy Professional (AER8) | Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant Candidates:
Requirements include a Master's degree, experience in teaching and learning, knowledge of Andragogy and Pedagogy principles, excellent communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, experience in program evaluation, and knowledge of effective instructional practices.
Additionally, skills required include ability to initiate and maintain client relationships, respond to inquiries, clear vision and depth perception, sharp focus, interaction and communication with clients, high level of analytical skills, knowledge of computer software applications, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Competencies required include U.S. Citizenship, excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, and other details such as work products being thorough, accurate, and documented.
Core competencies include teamwork, leadership, business acumen, communication, motivation, agility, judgment, and organization.
Other requirements include understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, commitment to work with diverse backgrounds, curiosity, humility, and willingness to learn and grow.
