Job DescriptionThe Drug Diversion Surveillance Analyst reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Drug Diversion Surveillance Analyst Performs audits and proactive monitoring strategies to monitor for discrepant use of controlled medications. Maintains required records and educates the NM Workforce on requirements and best practices. In addition, the Drug Diversion Program Analyst will prepare written reports and presentations of data analysis as directed.
The Drug Diversion Surveillance Analyst will work with leaders and staff within various departments across the system to promote a safe care environment for Northwestern Medicine’s staff, trainees, patients, visitors and any other groups that could be impacted by drug diversion.
