Job Description

Provide the firm with performance measurements, composite construction and calculation, and performance analysis across the firm’s client roster. The firm is an Outsourced Chief Investment Office that utilizes a multi-asset and multi-investment manager investment strategy across traditional and alternative asset classes. Primary duties include input and management of data and financial tools used to calculate return, risk and investment performance for client portfolios and their respective asset classes covering both traditional (global equities and fixed income) and alternative investments (hedge funds, natural resources, and private markets). This position will have exposure to various asset classes, investment strategies and firms to further their understanding of the investment management industry. This individual will be expected to be a key contributor to the firm with a team mentality.

Job Duties

Data collection, performance measurement and calculations

· Generate, review and verify client performance statements

· Along with operations team, focus on monthly/quarterly client report production process

· Gather, analyze, and review daily, monthly and quarterly portfolio performance measurement and valuation reports for all traditional and alternative investments

· Develop and automate processes to ensure data integrity and synchronization across all clients, underlying asset classes and investment managers through data collection efforts that include internal and external sources

· Collect, organize and manage accuracy of data inputs into an analytics system used for client reporting and investment analysis

· Manage the collection, input, and processing of capital flows for multiple client accounts in an accurate and timely manner

· Perform daily and monthly data integrity reviews to identify possible data entry errors or omissions. Coordinate with team members and external vendors to correct errors.

Maintain performance history and composites

· Develop customized ad hoc reports to evaluate performance and risk as requested by senior management or clients

· Generate, review and verify composite returns

· Verify accuracy of accounts listed within each composite and develop acceptable composite inclusion/exclusion criteria in conjunction with GIPS Standards and firm’s compliance professionals

· Set up new accounts, converted accounts, migrate performance history and other changes into appropriate composites associated with client changes

Reporting and Other Duties

· Assist with generating monthly performance update reports sent to clients

· Coordinate and manage content for quarterly client meetings and presentations

· Generate and validate monthly, quarterly and annual AUM reporting

· Create and maintain in conjunction with operations team GIPS compliant presentations

· Support the documentation of various processes and standard procedures related to data input, validation, reporting, and cash flow processes

· Seek opportunities and work on short-term, medium-term and long-term strategic initiatives to enhance processes through automation

Desired Qualifications:

· Degree(s): BS or BBA degree required, CIPM, MBA or related Master's Degree preferred

· 3-10 years of work experience within the investment management industry

· Majors: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or related discipline

· Strong understanding of calculations required for performance, risk management, analysis and reporting; interest in and understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.

· Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others and work within tight deadlines

· Solid analytical ability to research and analyze data with the ability to look at extensive amounts of data and identify errors

· Ability to effectively define, implement, balance and prioritize multiple tasks and strategic goals in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with changing priorities based on business demand

· Strong computer literacy (with emphasis on MS Office, database applications, programming and reporting)

· Self-starter with a strong work ethic and an ability to work within a team framework while also able to exercise initiative and work independently

· Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

· Position based in Nashville with hybrid work model (4 days in office)
