$550M PE-Backed CPG Manufacturer | The Woodlands, TX

We are partnering with a private equity fund to find a CFO for a highly profitable $550M consumer products manufacturer in The Woodlands, TX, preparing for an exit in the next 12-18 months. This role is critical to value creation, operational transformation, and transaction readiness.

What You’ll Lead:

Transaction Readiness & Exit:

• Full ownership of the exit process, from adjustments to buyer engagement
• Build credibility with buyers, translate ops into projections, and drive EBITDA credit
• Support M&A fit, forecasting, and post-close integration

Financial Transformation:

• Drive FP&A discipline: KPI tracking, budgeting, cost optimization
• Build a data-driven culture focused on ROI and margin enhancement
• Improve systems, master data, and financial visibility company-wide

Accounting & Audit:

• Deliver a clean audit, improve reporting, and align accounting with ops
• Optimize inventory valuation, G/L structure, and financial processes

Capital & Treasury Management:

• Own lender relationships and credit agreement strategy
• Manage liquidity, cash flow, FX exposure, and capital allocation
• Lead tax planning and compliance

Team & Systems:

• Upgrade finance org structure and second layer leadership
• Collaborate with IT and HR to streamline systems and fill key gaps

Who You Are:

• Proven CFO or senior finance leader with PE-backed CPG or food manufacturing experience
• Hands-on operator with full-cycle exit experience
• Strong in FP&A, systems upgrades, accounting rigor, and lender relations
• Based in or willing to relocate to The Woodlands, TX
